Music:
First and foremost I’m a harpsichordist and player of various other keyboard instruments like piano and organ. I’m lucky enough to play with some of the very best musicians in the UK in groups like Passacaglia, Feinstein Ensemble, London Baroque, Florilegium and King’s Consort, and I play solo recitals as often as I can. Recording:
I’m also busy with lots of recording-related things. I’m a regular author for Sound on Sound magazine, published in the UK, US and Brazil – I write about Apple news and techniques, and about the music production software Reason and Digital Performer. I produce and engineer commercial records, mostly in the classical field, and run my own record label, Barn Cottage Records. I’m often recording things for publishers like Schott, Faber and Boosey & Hawkes too.
