My earliest memories are of drawing & creating, it was always my dream to work in fashion. So after completing my A levels a KLB I went onto complete a 4yr degree in fashion & textiles at Winchester School of Art.

During the last yr of my degree and the following years I worked for a studio in London which exposed me to all levels of the industry. I created pieces for the high end in New York, designed capsule ranges, worked on trend prediction for the UK high street and assisted stylists on shoots. After such an incredible and varied experience it was time to focus my career so I left the studio to design for River Island. River is an incredibly creative place to work I had a lot of fun designing the product and have precious memories. I left River when given a opportunity to start a company with fellow colleagues, we designed and manufactured garments in India selling to River, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Guess & M&S limited. I had an amazing experience and learnt so much but for me the business responsibilities became bigger and more demanding than the creative, so after 4 years I made the decision to leave the company & return to the high street. I joined Miss Selfridge as a design manager just over a year ago. I manage a team of designers, my role is to inspire, teach, support and guide the teams into creating great product and a great brand. I still design across all areas but focus more on creating the trends, identifying key styles for the season and ensure the team develop them to the best of Miss S!

I have been incredibly lucky, travel the world, worked with incredible talent & met the most inspiring people along the way. I have loved fashion from a young age and truly believe I work in the best industry in the world.
