INSET
for schools

DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY

Inset courses will give both newly qualified and experienced teachers the confidence to deliver practical Design & Technology projects, allowing pupils to produce quality pieces of work. Programmes can be adapted for whole day, half day and twilight sessions.

Working examples of models and outcomes and teaching resources are included for schools to keep and use with pupils. Teachers are encouraged to share their existing schemes of learning and together discuss ways of enriching current practice. Worksheets that can be immediately introduced in the classroom are provided for teachers to keep.

INTERNATIONAL AND GLOBAL DIMENSION

International Education became a very important feature of his teaching by linking with schools in other countries to enrich his pupils' global awareness. His successful work in this field led him to be selected as a senior assessor for the British Council's International School Award.

John successfully coordinated partnerships with schools in Poland, India, Italy, Norway, Spain and the Netherlands and since then he has worked with and encouraged primary, special and secondary schools to introduce a global dimension to their curriculum and eventually apply for the prestigeous International School Award.
